San Antonio »
One of the Most Loved Cities in the U.S.
Perched on the southern edge of the gorgeous Texas Hill Country, San Antonio is the seventh largest city in the nation and the second largest in Texas. Capitalizing on its proximity to the San Antonio River, the city is famous for its 15-mile long River Walk, a pedestrian promenade lined by bars, shops, restaurants, nature, public artwork, and five Spanish missions. The River Walk also connects to many of San Antonio’s major attractions including the Shops at Rivercenter, the Arneson Theater, the Tower Life Building, The Alamo, Pearl and the San Antonio Museum of Art.
Nature enthusiasts enjoy access to 14,282 acres of parks and 114 miles of mostly urban hike-and-bike trails. Families flock to the San Antonio Zoo, The DoSeum for kids, the new Witte Science museum, SeaWorld and Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
Sports fans can watch the San Antonio Spurs and the WNBA Stars hold court at AT&T Center. If soccer is your game, check out the San Antonio FC at Toyota Field. Golf lovers can tee off at more than 50 courses, including Brackenridge Park Public Golf Course — the oldest 18-hole public golf course in Texas.
