With Sitterle your new home in San Antonio in Amorosa at Cibolo Canyon is ready to become a reality. Designing that home is a big step and it starts with asking yourself lots of questions that need answering.
Start with asking yourself “What do I like?” Not sure? The internet is full of all kinds of quizzes and prompts. A simple internet search on “what’s my home style?” brings up all kinds of helpful ideas that allow you to hone in on whether your design style is classic or contemporary, looks to the future or is a blast from the past. Search for which style suits your family best. Honing in on what you want before you start makes the process fun instead of making you anxious.
Once you have an idea of what you want, Sitterle Homes offers a vast array of award-winning designs that will help you plan the home perfectly suited to your family and lifestyle. Make sure to examine how your family will actually live in your new home.
Write down the answers to the following questions, and any questions you have about which direction to turn may disappear. Think about:
- How do you entertain or plan to entertain in your new home?
- What types of visitors will you have?
- How will your home need to change if your family grows?
- How does traffic need to flow in your home?
- Will everyone congregate in the kitchen?
- How and where will you eat? Inside or outside? At the table or at the island?
- Will you work at home? How? Where?
Give serious thought to the answers to all of the above questions. Then, with your mind wide open, pour over the gorgeous floor plans and photo galleries that are available to the Amorosa community to get you started. Our in-house design department is eager to help you work through the design process. Take your time at this stage. Avoid jumping into the building stage before you’re ready. Once building starts, changes get expensive.
Finally, decide what your space needs and choose your Lot. Large or small, it doesn’t matter but it is important that you allocate part of your thought process to the differences in the property. Make sure the house design you’re envisioning will fit properly. These are all great conversations to have with your Sales Professional. They’ll know the building restrictions of each area and will point you in the right direction.
