Check Out the First San Antonio CityFest

San Antonio’s inaugural CityFest starts today! Produced by Rivard Report and the Southwest School of Art, San Antonio CityFest is a celebration of ideas that accelerate progressive change in the city. The event runs November 8 – 10, 2018 and features three days of presenters and panelists discussing a range of topics, including mobility, culture, civic issues, and gender.

Celebrating San Antonio’s 300th Anniversary

2018 marks the 300th Anniversary of the founding of San Antonio and CityFest is the capstone event for the city’s 300th-anniversary celebrations. The Tricentennial Commission is also a presenting sponsor and has planned a special program with New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell, San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg, a panel of contributing writers from the book 300 Years of San Antonio and Bexar County, and a panel of ‘San Antonio icons,’ who will share stories and memories of key moments in the city’s trajectory from HemisFair ’68 forward.
