Trinity University

Trinity University has 136 degree programs. It is a small private university. In 2015, 805 students graduated, 696 with bachelor degrees and 109 master’s.

Our Lady of the Lake University

Our Lady of the Lake University is an independent catholic co-ed university located in San Antonio. Founded in 1895, this school was established by the Sisters of Divine Providence – a religious ground which originated in france in the 18th century.

University of Texas at San Antonio

UT San Antonio is a school of 31,000 students. It is the largest university in the city. It covers 725 acres of metropolitan acrs of land.

University of Incarnate Word

A private catholic university, the University of Incarnate Word was founded in 1881 by Sisters of Charity of Incarnate Word. The Campus surrounds 153 acres. The schools also operates an all girls high school, a co-educational high school, and two elementary schools.

Texas Lutheran University

Hallmark University

Hallmark University, a private university in San Antonio, focuses on academic programs in aronatrics, healthcare, business and information technology. Fun fact, in 1982, there were the first private career school in Texas to be awarded associate degree-granting authority.

St. Mary’s University

This university has 95 degrees. In 2015, 1,591 students graduated – 614 bachelor’s degrees, 30 master’s, 230 doctoral, and 15 certificate degrees.

The Art Institute of San Antonio

UT Health Science Center in San Antonio

Career Point College

Established in 1921 by Harold R. Frazel, Career Point College houses a cosmetology school and nursing school. The College was originally created to face the growing typist need in Kansas City, Missouri.

Northwest Vista College

Northwest Vista College is one of the best community colleges in the San Antonio area. It is one of five schools that comprise of the Alamo Colleges District. They house 17,000 students, offering associate degrees and technical certifications.
