The holiday season is officially here, and things are busier than ever in the Houston metro. With the heavy rains (hopefully) passed, people can finally get out and start enjoying the seasonal fun all around the city. We’ll be scheduling tours of our new homes in Houston all month long and also taking part in the activities below during our free time. Hope to see you there!

 

See the Best of America’s Got Talent

 

America’s Got Talent brings out some of the most bizarre and breathtaking entertainment acts in the U.S., and the All-Stars Tour has them all. From bands to comedians to acrobats, all the top contenders of the show will be performing live in Houston.

Start Your Holiday Shopping at the Nutcracker Market

 

While the Texans are getting ready for their away game against the Bengals NGR Park is being transformed into a winter wonderland shopping extravaganza. The Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market is a much-anticipated annual event that benefits the ballet. This year the theme is “Putting on the Ritz”, and that’s exactly what over 300 vendors plan to do. Knock out your holiday shopping list before Black Friday and support one of the area’s top arts organizations at the same time.

Celebrate With Your Kids at the 20th Annual Children’s Festival

 

Award-winning children’s performers are taking the stage to entertain kids and their parents all day long at the annual Children’s Festival. The acts include LEGO master builder Brandon Griffith, Janet from the popular PBS show Janet’s Planet and Riff Rockit. There are also character meet and greets along with a variety of games and activities for kids of all ages.

Keep Fit & Support Healthy Eyesight at the Eye Stroll for Vision 5K

 

Stroll through the Houston Zoo to show your support for Prevent Blindness Texas. The Eye Stroll for Vision 5K and 1K fun run helps raise funds for this worthy cause and gives participants a new perspective of the zoo. Runners can sign up as a team or individual in either event to raise money for this great cause. Bring the whole family to enjoy a day of fun that includes a free breakfast, door prizes, live music and animal interaction!
