August – September 4 – Highest Heaven Exhibition at the San Antonio Museum of Art
Don’t miss the Spanish and Portuguese Colonial Art collection before it leaves SAMA. Every Friday, June – October from 7PM – 11PM enjoy a free concert on the Tower Plaza listening to the best local sounds of San Antonio. August 6 – Ford Canoe Challenge
This annual event has been a River Walk tradition since 1969 and the only time canoeing is allowed on the downtown portion of the River Walk. There are three categories of registration: Boy & Girl Scouts (1/2 mile course), Corporate/Public (1/4 mile course) and the Celebrity (1/4 mile course). August 11 – 14 Annual Baile International Grand Salsa Festival
This four-day salsa dancing event is packed with dance performances from around the world, concerts and music, and social dancing. August 13 – 27 – Culinaria Presents San Antonio Restaurant Week

August 20 – September 17– Treasure Island at the Magik Theater

August 23 – Yoga at Your Park
